Rosslyn Inn & Suites in Edmonton, AB was originally built in 1962. The first location of our hotel was situated in what was then the edge of the city. However, as the city changed over the years, so have we.
In 1972, the ownership of our company changed hands. Since then we have been under the management of the same proprietors. In 2001, we underwent a big redevelopment, adding a tower and multiple suites to our existing building.
What has not changed, though, is our hospitality. One of our defining traits, which have stood the test of time, is that we treat each person as an individual. We understand that every client has a different need, and we consider it our responsibility to make each person feel welcome and comfortable at our hotel.
Today, we continue to provide our customers with a clean safe and comfortable environment to stay. Moreover, we now stand out as one of the best pet-friendly hotels in the area. We are a strong supporter of our surrounding communities. These are among the many reasons why people in the neighbourhood are proud to have us in the community.

Our check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Our check out time is 11:00 a.m. Guests who check out after 12:00 p.m. will be required to pay a late checkout charge.

All reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of $30.00 (in Canadian dollars). If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the date of arrival, then no charges are applied. However, if a cancellation is made after the 24-hour period, charges will be applied. For no-shows, the charge of one night’s stay will be applied.
We accept pets in our hotel rooms. Pets are defined as cats and dogs that are small or medium-sized and weigh up to 50 lbs. or 24 kg. We do not accept exotic pets, including all types of birds, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, ferret, snakes, and spiders.
The maximum number of pets we allow is 2. Pet owners will be held responsible for any damage that is caused by their pet/s. The damage fees will be applied to the guest folio or credit card.
When the owners are absent from the guest room, their respective pets must be kennelled. Our staff will not service rooms if the pets are not properly kennelled. We assume no responsibility for pets that are not kennelled.
Pets that create disturbances during their stay must be removed. For the safety and comfort of our other customers, pets must be kennelled or controlled on a leash when they are in public areas. Owners are responsible for any damages caused by their pet.

We are a non-smoking hotel. If there is evidence of smoking or drug use in the room, the guest will be charged a cleaning fee of up to $250.00. The additional cleaning charge also applies to any odours deemed offensive by the hotel.
